Racing Since 2014
Virginia Adventures sole purpose is to provide top-notch trail races in the Central Virginia region. After years of driving all over the place, we wanted to give people fantastic options closer to home. Our focus has been partnering with Virginia State Parks, local trails, businesses, and the community to create a family feel.
Meet the People Behind Virginia Adventures
Dan Pulskamp serves as the Race Director, course designer, timer, and organizer. He has spent 21 years in the Army Reserves and is also a High School Special Education Teacher. He has been running Ultras since 2011.
Luz Pulskamp serves as an Aid Station Captain, behind-the-scenes support, and sounding board for new ideas. If you loved the food at one of our aid stations, chances are she is responsible for it.
Xavier and Camila Pulskamp are often cheering on runners or operating lemonade stands at our events.
